A rare gemstone since 1980, as it has been increasingly hard to get hold of - therefore becoming more expensive - and its few known locations aren't easily mined. The rarest and most valuable stones are a deep, uniform purple.  Sugilite is also known as lavulite, royal azel, cybeline and wesselite.  Our sugilite is sourced in Namibia, Africa.  Crystology rates sugilite highly as love stone and for deep healing.
