Campsie Fells Jasper & Sapphire Sterling Silver Ring
Beautifully polished Campsie Fells jasper, set in a 925 sterling silver adjustable Celtic Knot wrap ring. Companion golden yellow fancy sapphire set in the 'tail' of the ring.
Though best worn at approximately size T (UK) or 9¾ (US), the ring will fit sizes M-V (UK) and 6¼-10½ (US) due to the open design of the band, without drastically compromising the original design concept too much.
Jasper gemstone measures approximately 12x8mm, sapphire is 2.5mm diameter. The wearing length (the length it spans your finger when worn) is around 28mm.

RESIZING ADJUSTABLE RINGS
It is quite easy to change the size of the ring yourself as long as you go slowly and are careful, manipulating the inner area of the band with warm fingers, rather than pulling at the end sections – this will help keep a round shape too. This ring will span quite a few sizes without compromising the original design concept. Once set, it is advisable not to resize again, as silver is quite soft and can become brittle and snap if bent too frequently.
Beautifully vibrant native Jasper sourced from Campsie Fells, a hill range in central Scotland. Known as the 'Campsies', the hills are comprised of volcanic rock - the high iron content makes the bright yellow and red colours in the Jasper found there.
