isle of mull pink granite

The unique material for this jewellery has been collected from the old quarry at Tormore, on the Isle of Mull. Tormore's granite was in great demand as building material, due to the hardy nature and attractive natural colour of the granite.  Its use has meant that pieces of Ross of Mull Granite have turned up as far away as China, and in graveyards throughout the world. The Ross of Mull peninsula in Fionnphort is a great place to see the well exposed 'Ross of Mull' red/pink granite.
