Charoite is only found in Siberia and has been named after the Chara River where it is sourced.   The word ‘Chary’ in Russian means ‘magic’ or ‘charms’.  Its colour ranges from lavender through to deep rich purple and includes beautifully silky patterns due to its complex structure.    It is said to be a stone of connection and dreams.
